St. Johnsbury Pediatrics Welcomes Two New Providers
ST. JOHNSBURY, VT (October 13, 2023) – Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is excited to announce that two new providers have joined their team at St. Johnbury Pediatrics: Sarah Grycza, MD and Lindsey Gauderer, FNP-C.
Grycza received her medical degree from the University Of Toledo College Of Medicine and Life Sciences and her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ohio State University. This past June, prior to joining St. Johnsbury Pediatrics, she completed her Pediatric Residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Outside of work, Grycza’s current goals include completing the 4,000 footer hikes and finding a good fishing spot. She enjoys seeing children of all ages, but in particular newborns and infants.
Lindsey Gauderer, FNP-C was born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom. Prior to her return to the Kingdom, she had lived and started her career in Lander, WY. There she spent the majority of her eight years as an FNP in primary care working for the Indian Health Service on the Wind River Reservation.
As a family nurse practitioner, Gauderer has worked with all ages. She has, however, informally focused on pediatrics. This led her to seek a job in pediatric primary care.
“I am excited to return to the NEK for the community, the access to the outdoors, and being close to family again,” Gauderer said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to raise my children in Vermont and specifically in the Kingdom. I think it is a great place to be a young family.”
Outside of her work, Gauderer enjoys many outdoor activities, such as skiing, biking, running, and hiking. She also loves to garden and cook. Her family, which includes her two kids, age six and three, her husband, and her Border Collie mutt, will be building a house this fall, so they will be busy with that as well.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Gauderer was an outdoor educator and ski instructor.
