NVRH Auxiliary Selects Annual Raffle Winners

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT (September 15, 2020) – The Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) Auxiliary is excited to announce the winners of the 2020 NVRH Auxiliary Annual Raffle in support of the NVRH Auxiliary Scholastic Achievement Awards. The NVRH Auxiliary distributed two $1,000 and three $2,500 awards to qualifying students to support their educational endeavors in a healthcare field in May. On September 11, 2020, members of the NVRH Auxiliary Fundraising Committee held the drawing for the NVRH Annual Auxiliary Raffle that benefits student education awards. 

Winners of the larger awards are as follow: Bill Marshall, $300; Julie Riegal, $200; Sylvia Houghton, $100; and Paul Wheeler, $50 gift certificate to Wildflower. Other winners received various gifts as well as 2 pairs of colorful socks donated by Soul Mate Socks. Prizes included Willoughby Lake cribbage board, Kim Brown; a 1000 piece puzzle, Paige Crosby; “PEACE” sign (created by Artlinked Letters of Vermont), Deb Hunt; chrome condiment bowl and Skida hat, Fred Wells; earbuds with case, Sylvia Jones; 3 pairs of colorful socks, Lynn Wurzburg; 1000 piece puzzle, Barbara Daniels; 2 winter lift tickets to Burke Mountain, Brenda Lane; Miss Lyndonville Diner certificates, Jeannette Farmer, Anne O’Connor, and Merlyn Courser; and 2 summer lift tickets to Burke Mountain, Judy Desrochers.

Auxiliary membership is open to all adult individuals who are interested in NVRH and who are willing to uphold the purpose of the Auxiliary. All volunteers are automatically members of the Auxiliary.
