Miller’s Run School Students Donate Prayer Shawls to NVRH

ST. JOHNSBURY, VT (July 18, 2024) – Miller’s Run School students Hunter Blair, Jude Baldasin, and Jaida Jenkin, along with the rest of the sixth grade spent their year-long service project learning how to crochet. They picked their own colors from donated yarn, making each shawl – which they donated to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) on June 4, 2024 – one-of-a-kind.

“These shawls will go to patients in moments when they need a little comfort” NVRH Chaplain Abby Pollender says. “We greatly appreciate this kindness, thank you all so much.”

The project was led by Miller’s Run School educator and K-8 Content Specialist Mariah Chamberlain.
