Northern Physical Therapy Welcomes Mykala Wiswell, PT, DPT
Lyndonville (10/26/19) – Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) and Northern Physical Therapy in Lyndonville welcomes physical therapist Mykala Wiswell, PT, DPT. After completing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Lyndon State College, Wiswell went on to get her doctorate at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.
Wiswell was drawn to physical therapy because she liked that she could treat people’s pain without prescribing medications. “So many people are limited in their daily lives because of pain,” says Wiswell. “I am able to help relieve their pain and help them reach their full potential.”
“We are excited to have Mykala join our team here at NPT,” says Jesse Dimick, Clinical Director. “From day one of her clinical with us, we knew that she would be a great fit for the clinic, and we were excited to be able to offer her a position. Her passion and energy to help others fit right in with the NPT culture.”
Northern Physical Therapy offers a wide range of rehabilitative, wellness, and treatment programs at their outpatient center in Lyndonville. Wiswell grew up on Woodbury, Vermont and now lives in Walden with her finance and their two dogs. “I always knew I wanted to stay in Vermont and work in the NEK,” says Wiswell. “I can’t imagine living any place else.”
