St. Johnsbury, VT — March 12, 2025 — The Hanna and Charles Gray Gallery at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is proud to announce a new exhibit featuring the work of art students from Vermont State University–Lyndon. “From Concept to Creation: A Showcase of VTSU–Lyndon’s Artists” celebrates the creativity, innovation, and technical skills of students in the Animation, Illustration, and Graphic Design program. This diverse collection highlights work created over the past academic year, offering patients and visitors an inside look at the artistic journey of VTSU’s emerging talents. The show runs from March 13 to April 16, 2025.
From intricately 3D-modeled clocks to the imaginative world of children’s book illustrations, from captivating photography and graphic design to the dynamic storytelling of sequential art, the exhibit showcases the broad range of artistic and communication skills developed by students in the program.
“This exhibition is a testament to the dedication and creativity of our VTSU students,” said Professor Barclay Tucker, who teaches drawing, history of the visual arts, illustration, and graphic design. “Each piece tells a story, reflecting not only technical skill but also the unique artistic voice of each student.”
The show will feature works by students taught by Tucker, as well as Professors Kelly Glentz Brush and Kate Renner, including: Connie Barber, Jay Beaty, Brody Belville, Ben Briggs, Kimari Collins, Donna Cullivan, Elizabeth Dean, Chloe Ducharme, Julia Greene, McKenna Griswold, Claire Harris, Jay Haywood, Lee-Ingadottir-May, Jane Jackson, Hailey Joseph-Young, Colin Kemper, Ryder Klager, Kal Lineback, Kayla Livingston, Rain Marsh, Melody McMahon, Lily Provencher, Fiona Perez-Razzaque, Wilson Sabal, Adam Shard, Seamus Toler, Mim Wonsala, Joe Vyvial, and Janet Youkeles.
