ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (December 29, 2023) – The Charles M. and Hanna H. Gray Gallery at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is excited to announce “Scenes of the Kingdom” by Lyndon photographer Timothy Kirchoff. The exhibit will be on display until Monday, February 12, 2024.

Although he had used a point-and-shoot camera for years, Kirchoff wanted more control over his craft, and in 2012, started using a DSLR – a digital single-lens reflex camera.

“This marked a turning point for me,” Kirchoff said. “It allowed me the creative freedom I had sought. Since then, I use my camera to immortalize the unique beauty of the Northeast Kingdom, primarily focusing on landscape photography.”

Kirchoff photographs do include other subjects, such as wildlife, still life, family and senior portraits, local events and nighttime captures. He has also photographed the NVRH Gala.

“In essence, Tim’s photography is a celebration of the Northeast Kingdom’s natural allure,” sister and Art Gallery Curator Jennifer Layn said. “With each click of the shutter, he captures not just images, but the essence of a place he calls home.”

Timothy Kirchoff resides in Lyndon with his wife, two kids and their faithful dog.

The Charles M. and Hanna H. Gray Gallery is located on the hospital’s main floor. This exhibit will be on display until February 12, 2024. All pieces are for sale and 25% of the proceeds benefit the NVRH ARTs program. For more information, please contact Art Gallery Curator Jennifer Layn at j.layn@nvrh.org or 802-748-7313.
