NVRH Auxiliary Presents $9,500 in Scholastic Achievement Awards

Local students receive Scholastic Achievement Awards from NVRH Auxiliary on Friday, May 12, 2022. ST. JOHNSBURY, VT (May 22, 2023) – The Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) Auxiliary announced the five recipients of the Scholastic Achievement Awards, which totaled $9,500 and is presented annually to both high school and adult students who are pursuing a career in healthcare, on Friday, May 12.

Scholastic Achievement Award Committee Chair Beulah McGinnis presented a $2,500 award to Emily Hubbard Tanner of Sutton (Norwich University – RN), Hannah Roberts of Lyndon (UVM – RN), and Blake Lamont of St. Johnsbury (Vermont State University – RN). Nya Jewell of Lyndonville (Vermont State University – RN), and Erin Langlais of Sutton (Simmons College – RN), each received a $1,000 award as well.

The NVRH Auxiliary also held their Annual Scholastic Achievement Award Raffle drawing. All proceeds of the raffle supported the NVRH Scholastic Achievement Awards.
