ST. JOHNSBURY, VT (August 27, 2026) – NVRH has released the September – December edition of its HealthyChoices newsletter, featuring affordable community wellness programs, seasonal activities, and mental health support resources.
Whether you’re looking for organized local activities like a healthy heart support group, a yoga or dance fitness class, resources on adult education, support for caregivers, or healthy, low-cost food options, the new edition of HealthyChoices is packed with ideas and resources to help you and your family head into the fall season.
“Back-to-school is a great time to try new activities and find resources that can help you and your family every day,” says NVRH Community Health Worker Supervisor Deborah Locke-Rousseau. “HealthyChoices is a resource that all of our Community Health Workers use to connect people to everything from free or low-cost family activities to mental health support.”
The September – December 2026 issue of HealthyChoices includes listings for local outdoor activities from the Kingdom Trails Association and the Green Mountain Hiking Club to mountain biking and disc golf. You’ll also find listings for local wellness programs sponsored by NVRH and other community partners, kids’ activities, food access information, support groups, and mental health resources. HealthyChoices is mailed directly to community members and is also available at nvrh.org.
